The red 2005 Ford GT that belonged to the late actor Paul Walker, from the Fast and Furious franchise, is being auctioned by the auction house Bring A Trailer.
Under the hood is Ford’s 5.4-liter V8 engine, producing 550 hp and 678 Nm of torque, with the power sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed Ricardo manual gearbox.

In addition to being special, the model itself is extremely rare. Paul Walker’s GT is one of only 14 units produced by Ford with a red Mark IV Red exterior, without the traditional racing stripes.
According to the listing, the car was part of Walker’s “Always Evolving Collection” and is almost entirely original, except for Steve Saleen’s signature on one of the engine braces.

It has only 5,800 km on the odometer and features replacement Penske shocks, an Accufab throttle body, an ECU remap, and an upgraded exhaust system.
The double-spoke ADV.1 wheels, measuring 19 and 20 inches, are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The sale also includes a set of lightweight forged aluminum BBS wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.

The vehicle came with a variety of factory options that are still present, such as the McIntosh sound system with CD player and the brake calipers with red finish.
Inside, the GT features ebony leather seats, a carbon-fiber structure, and rubber mats that protect the aluminum floor. It also has keyless entry, air conditioning, and push-button start.

The car underwent a service this month, which included an oil change, new spark plugs, fuel filter, battery, and mass airflow sensor. The auction ends at the beginning of December and, so far, the highest bid has reached an impressive US$ 550,000.
